Kevin Flynn

Kevin Flynn is in his second year at Manhattan College.

Last year, Flynn helped in the development of MAAC Player of the Year Christian Santisteban and MAAC Rookie of the Year Fabian Pena with both student-athletes also earning All-American accolades.

Flynn arrived in Riverdale after spending the 2015 season as a volunteer coach at Cornell and 2014 as an undergraduate assistant at his alma mater Hofstra University. During his time with the Pride, he oversaw a pair of All-CAA selections behind the plate in First Team pick Matt Reistetter, who would go on to sign with the Washington Nationals, and Third Team honoree Robbie Cafiero.

In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Flynn worked as the pitching coach for the Southampton of the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League while helping the Breakers to the 2014 Championship.

Along with Reistetter, Flynn has worked with Bryan Verbitsky (Hofstra), Matt Ford (Hofstra) and Tim Ingram (Southampton), all of whom inked contracts with Major League organizations.

A standout on the field, Flynn played two seasons at Hofstra and was a First Team All-CAA selection as a senior in 2012 before signing a professional contract with the Washington Nationals as an undrafted free agent in 2013.

Flynn, who graduated with a degree in history from Hofstra, also played summer ball with Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod League.
