Former Seton Hall standout Giuseppe Papaccio is in his first year as a volunteer assistant coach for Manhattan.
Papaccio most recently played for the Chicago Cubs organization, reaching Double A after being drafted in the 18th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
A four-year standout at Seton Hall, he earned Louisville Slugger All-American honors as a shortstop and was a three-time All-Big East selection while helping lead the Pirates to a NCAA Regional appearance in 2011.
Papaccio graduated with a degree in liberal studies with a minor in communications and writing from Seton Hall.
