RIVERDALE, NY – The 2026-27 Manhattan Men's Basketball Metro Conference schedule has been set, per release on Thursday afternoon.

"Every night in this league is real," described Head Coach John Gallagher.

The Conference announced the 20-game regular-season conference slate, which features the Jaspers becoming the first team to play a "Metro Conference" contest against the Peacocks of Saint Peter's University on Wednesday, December 2, inside Draddy Gymnasium.

The Green and White will receive its first bye of the conference slate on Tuesday, December 29, before resuming conference play on New Year's Day inside Draddy Gymnasium against the Warriors of Merrimack College.

Sophomore guard Quron Elliott and the Jaspers travel to the 2025 then-MAAC Champion, Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers for a Sunday afternoon, January 3 showdown inside Knott Arena.

"Thirteen teams, twenty conference games, and every one of them will tell you something about who you are. That's what you want as a coach."

Just five days later, graduate guard Josiah Sabino and Manhattan take on the Quinnipiac Bobcats inside Draddy Gymnasium on Friday, January 8. Last season's contest against the Hamden-based institution featured a come-from-behind victory to stun

Throughout the conference slate, the Jaspers will not play more than two consecutive home or away contests. Additionally, the schedule features an even breakdown of 10 home and 10 road conference games, and will play four teams, Marist, Fairfield, Niagara, and Canisius, just once throughout the year.

The Jaspers and junior forward Ogjnen Stankovic hit the road for back-to-back games and take on Sacred Heart and the Marist Red Foxes in a span of 72 hours starting on Sunday, January 10, before resuming in Poughkeepsie on Wednesday, January 13.

Down the stretch of January, the Jaspers face the Rider Broncs inside Draddy Gymnasium on Saturday, January 16, before embarking on their first trip to MVP Arena and the Siena Saints in nearly two seasons, on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 18, before returning home four days later and welcoming the Mountaineers of Mount St. Mary's.

After concluding January against Merrimack in Andover, with Niagara and Canisius closing out the first month of 2027 inside Draddy, graduate forward Liam McChesney and the Jaspers open February inside the Hynes Athletic Center at Iona on Friday, February 5.

Two of the following three are on the road for Manhattan with Quinnipiac and Rider welcoming the Jaspers approaching Super Bowl and Valentine's Day weekend, beginning on Thursday, February 11, and culminating on Saturday, February 13.

The Jaspers close out the campaign with two of the final three inside the friendly confines of Draddy Gymnasium, beginning with the annual visit from the Iona Gaels on Friday, February 19, before traveling to Jersey City to take on the Saint Peter's Peacocks. The Senior Night finale comes against the defending then-MAAC Champion, Siena Saints, on Friday, February 26.

The Metro Conference campaign ends on Sunday, February 28, with the Jaspers receiving the opening and final bye dates in this year's conference slate, before the 2026 Metro Men's Basketball Championships take shape inside the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ, on Thursday, March 4.

"Our guys are excited, and we can't wait to get Draddy going on December 2."
