POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -
Heading into the home stretch, the Manhattan Jaspers look to win their third consecutive game, this time against the Red Foxes from Marist. Leading Manhattan in the points category has been Senior guard Brianna Davis, averaging 14.8 points a night, including a Division I high of 28 points twice this month. Her scoring average puts her in fourth place across the MAAC. Senior guard Hana Mühl has helped spread the rock, with a nightly average of 3.8 holding second place in the MAAC. On the defensive end, Graduate forward Colette Mulderig has helped anchor that end of the floor, with her 1.7 average on blocks putting her in second place across the MAAC, while a 5.8 rebound average keeps her in the top 15 as well. The Jaspers will look to tally their first three-game winning streak since Jan. 14.

Scouting the Opposition:

After three consecutive losses to open 2025-26, the Marist Red Foxes have since stumbled to a 7-10 record in the standings.

Marist has dropped three of their last four games, with their lone win coming against Saint Peter's.

The Red Foxes are led by Freshman and Senior guards Justine Henry and Lexie Tarul, who combine for an output of 24.7 points per game.

Two other consistent members of the starting lineup in Senior guard Jackie Piddock and forward Ciara Croker have combined for an additional 12.6 points a night, with the latter being the team's second-leading rebounder with 5.3 boards.

Sophomore guard Chloe Escanillas has been a newly inserted member of the starting lineup, filling in the role of the injured fellow Sophomore guard Danielle Williamsen. She scored 11 points in her first start vs. Niagara on Jan. 31.

Marist was selected to finish in fourth place in this year's edition of the MAAC Preseason Poll.

After hovering just above. 500 in the conference slate at 11-9 in 2024-25, the Red Foxes went in to the MAAC Championship as the fifth-seeded team.

In Atlantic City, Marist played Mount St. Mary's (MD) for the second consecutive game in the quarterfinals, losing 68-65 after a missed jumper in the final seconds.

This will serve as the 69th matchup between Marist and Manhattan, with the Jaspers falling in four of the last five meetings.
