FAIRFIELD, Conn. - After going an even 5-5 through the first ten games of the conference schedule, the Jaspers look to steal a win Thursday when they take on the Pioneers from Sacred Heart. Leading Manhattan in the points category has been Senior guard
Brianna Davis, averaging 13.1 points a night, including a Division I high of 23 points and 11 rebounds on Jan. 19 against Rider. On the defensive end, Graduate forwards
Colette Mulderig and Agar Farrés Garcia have helped anchor that end of the floor, with the former's 1.6 average on blocks putting her in second place across the MAAC, while the latter's 7.1 rebounds have her in fifth. R-Sophomore forward
Kristina Juric's 53.8% clip from the field also has her in second place across the MAAC. The Green and White will look to get back above .500 in conference play before returning to Draddy Gymnasium on Saturday to take on in-state foe Iona.
Scouting the Opposition:
•Despite starting the 2025-26 season 2-7 in non-conference play, the Sacred Heart Pioneers have since gotten out to an 8-3 start to the MAAC slate, currently holding third place.
•In their most recent stretch, Sacred Heart has picked up three straight wins and won four of their last five against Siena, Marist, Canisius, and Niagara.
•The Pioneers are led by the two-headed monster of Senior guard Amelia Wood and Junior forward Nalyce Dudley, averaging a combined 27.8 points a night, with the former chipping in 15 of those. Wood has also scored in double figures in her last 15 games, accumulating 21 on three separate instances.
•Two other players average 8.2 points apiece, in Junior center Emma Kirby and Freshman guard Sophie Nascimento.

•The Pioneers finished the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 9-20, going 5-15 within the MAAC.
•Due to their conference record, Sacred Heart did not qualify for the 2025 MAAC Championship in Atlantic City.
