FAIRFIELD, Conn. -
Following securing their third consecutive win and fourth in their last five games, the Jaspers look to go for a fourth straight Saturday against Fairfield. Leading Manhattan in the points category has been Senior guard Brianna Davis, averaging 11.9 points a night. A recent uptick in play has come from Junior forward Kristina Juric, posting a career-high of 22 points last time out against Mount St. Mary's. On the defensive end, Graduate forward Colette Mulderig has helped on the defensive end, with her 1.8 average on blocks putting her in second place across the MAAC. Graduate guard Elisa Solé Sanchez has had a recent resurgence as well, posting in double figures four of her last five outings, including a season-high of 18 last game vs. The Mount. The Green and White will look to get a big win before returning home on MLK Day to take on Rider inside Draddy Gymnasium at 7 PM.

Scouting the Opposition:

After opening the 2025-26 season hovering over .50 at 4-3, the Fairfield Stags have won their first seven conference games by an average of 27.3 points each.

Prior to conference play, Fairfield took down Villanova, Lehigh, and South Florida in their first three games to start the season.

Fairfield is led by the two-headed monster of Juniors guard Kaety L'Amoreaux and road runner Meghan Andersen, averaging a combined 37.2 points a night, nearly half of the team's 79.2 per-game average. The pair have combined for six MAAC Player of the Week awards in just nine weeks.

L'Amoreaux tallied 11 PTS, 10 REB, and 10 AST against Niagara on January 3, the program's first-ever triple-double.

Four more players average at least seven points a game, led by Graduate guard Janelle Brown (8.2), Junior guard Jillian Huerter (7.8), Freshman guard Christina Pham (7.5), and Sophomore road runner Cyanne Coe (7.0).

Fairfield was selected as the preseason 2025-26 MAAC Champions.

After winning 19 of their 20 conference games in 2024-25 as well as the MAAC Championship, the Stags were selected as a 12 seed for the NCAA Championship.

At Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky., Fairfield dropped their opening round matchup to fifth-seeded Kansas State by a final score of 85-41.

This will serve as the 103rd matchup between Fairfield and Manhattan, with the Jaspers falling in the first matchup inside Draddy Gymnasium, 84-59.
