TEANECK, NJ – Manhattan Women's Volleyball (1-7) fell to the Knights of Fairleigh Dickinson (4-7) in straight sets (14-25, 21-25, 16-25) inside Bogota Savings Bank Center on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Manhattan's first five points all came from different hands, with Helenn Montilla, Fiona VanDyke, Hanna Kaczynska, Abby Morreale, and Emma Francesconi all contributing.
  • Two runs of four or more consecutive points from the Knights helped FDU take the first set 25-14.
  • After a 7-0 FDU run late in the second dance, the Jaspers responded right back with six unanswered of their own, capped off by a kill from Katie Powers.
  • VanDyke's service ace gave Manhattan an early advantage, becoming the Green and White's lone lead in any set.
