BRONX, N.Y. - Following their second road contest of the season on 11/15, Manhattan looks to get in the win category following a non-conference loss at Air Force. Leading Manhattan in the points category has been Senior guard
Brianna Davis, posting in double figures in three of the Jaspers' first four games. Graduate transfer Agar Farrés Garcia is establishing herself as the defensive anchor on the team, averaging 11.3 rebounds per game. Senior Hana Mühl has helped the offense facilitate, averaging four assists per game, good enough for 2nd across the MAAC. The Green and White return to New York to take on fellow Bronx resident Fordham in the 2025 edition of "Battle of the Bronx" before heading down to Annapolis, Md. for the Navy Classic.
Scouting the Opposition:
•After opening the 2025-26 season with wins in three of their first four, the Fordham Rams have dropped their last two over the last seven days to both Buffalo and Seton Hall, both by single digit margins.
•Despite their road troubles, Fordham has won all three of their games inside Rose Hill Gym, posting wins over Division II Adelphi, as well as Saint Peter's and Stony Brook.
•Led by Junior guard Alexis Black, the Washington, D.C. native is currently ranked 11th across all Division I players in scoring average, putting up an astonishing 23.2 points per game. This includes two 30+ outings with 30 against NJIT and a new career-high of 42 last time out against Buffalo. Black has also knocked down 19 shots from behind the line this year, good enough for fourth in the nation.
•Just behind Black tied with 7.8 points a night are Graduate Ornella Niankan and Junior Ugne Sirtautaite, combining for five double digit games between the two.
•Senior Kaila Berry leads the team with 6.3 rebounds per contest.
•The Rams come off a 2024-25 season where they finished with an even record at 15-15, going 9-9 inside Atlantic 10 play.
•Earning the eighth seed in time for the 2025 A10 Championship, Fordham dropped its opening round matchup to ninth-seeded Duquesne 79-63.
•This will serve as the 56th matchup between Fordham and Manhattan, with the Jaspers having more history with the Rams than any other Division I program outside the MAAC.
