EDISON, NJ - With basketball season right around the corner, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced today the 2023-23 men's basketball conference schedule.
In his first season as head coach of Manhattan College, John Gallagher and the Jaspers will open conference play at home against Mount St. Mary's on Dec. 1, before traveling to Marist on Dec. 3.
The Jaspers will kick off the new year by hosting Niagara (Jan. 5), then going to Quinnipiac (Jan. 7) and Rider (Jan. 12), before returning home to welcome Saint Peter's to Draddy Gymnasium. Manhattan will have a bye on Jan. 19, before closing out the month of January hosting Fairfield (Jan. 21), and then playing ay Canisius (Jan. 26) and Niagara (Jan. 28).
In February, the Jaspers begin the month hosting Quinnipiac (Feb. 2), back-to-back home games against Fairfield (Feb. 4) and Mount St. Mary's (Feb. 8), followed by a home game versus Siena (Feb. 10). To close out the month, Manhattan will play at Iona (Feb. 16),host Rider (Feb. 18) and Marist (Feb. 23).
Four games in March will close out regular season play. The Jaspers will play their final league two road matches at Siena (Mar. 1) and Saint Peter's (Mar. 3), before hosting Iona (Mar. 7) and Canisus (Mar. 9) a home.
Manhattan's non-conference schedule will be announced at a later date.
