- Following a 9-5 win over St. John's, Graduate student
Liam McDonough was named MAAC Face-off Player of the Week; conference officials announced Monday afternoon.
McDonough was 12-of-15 in faceoffs, providing the Jaspers with a significant possession advantage against the Red Storm. McDonough also tallied nine groundballs to lead the team.
VMI took the rest of the awards this week, with Scout Ripley taking offensive player of the week, while Adam Norris took both defensive player and rookie of the week.
The Jaspers' next contest will be Saturday, Feb. 18 at Navy at 12 p.m. Navy is receiving votes in both lacrosse polls this week.
