Durocher Collects PGCBL First Team All-League Honors

RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Rising senior Pete Durocher earned a spot on the PGCBL All-League First Team. Durocher earned the first team nod in right field.
 
Durocher finished the season for Mohawk Valley, hitting .345—57 hits—with 38 RBI, 47 runs scored, and 13 steals. The Emerson, N.J. native finished the year with 17 extra-base hits, including three homers. This summer, Durocher had 19 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games.
 
Durocher led Mohawk Valley in average, and runs scored and was second in RBI. The 47 runs scored and 57 hits led the league.
 
For the Jaspers this past season, Durocher was named First Team All-MAAC, ABCA/Rawlings All-Region, and ECAC Honorable Mention. For the Jaspers this spring, Durocher finished second on the Jaspers in slugging percentage (.530), runs scored (45), hits (64), RBI (50), home runs (6), and total bases (97). The right fielder led the Jaspers in stolen bases with 15, fourth in the MAAC.
