Edison, NJ - Senior
Brendan Krebs (East Williston, NY / Chaminade) was tabbed as the 2021 Preseason All-MAAC goalkeeper, while Manhattan was slated to finish fifth in the annual coaches poll.
Krebs went 3-3 last year while pacing the MAAC and ranking sixth nationally with a .597 save percentage, while also ranking sixth nationally and second in the league with 13.8 saves per game to go along with a MAAC-best 9.33 Goals Against Average (GAA).
Two years ago in 2019, Krebs earned First Team All-MAAC honors after ranking sixth nationally with a MAAC-leading .569 save percentage, and 10th with 13.29 saves per game
In the preseason poll, Marist earned seven first-place votes and 63 overall in being tabbed first. Detroit Mercy collected one first-place vote and 53 total in being slated second. Monmouth (40) was third, followed by Quinnipiac (38) in fourth and Manhattan (32) in fifth. Rounding out the poll is Siena (29), Canisius (25) and St. Bonaventure (8).
The Jaspers open their season at Monmouth on Saturday, March 6 at 11:00 am.
