Brendan Lawler has announced that senior
Camryn Nici (Seaford, NY / St. Anthony's), junior
Bri DeLeo (Harriman, NY / Monroe-Woodbury) and classmate
Sydney Harwood (Monroe, NY / Monroe-Woodbury) will serve as captains for the 2019 season.
"Cam, Bri and Sydney are all terrific examples of our team and institutional values," said Lawler. "They are always there for their teammates for whatever they need, while always doing everything possible to continue to develop themselves. They walk the walk of the servant leader on a daily basis."Â
Nici turned in an impressive 2018 season, registering a 0.45 GAA with a .909 save percentage and two shutouts in the first extended action of her career.Â
DeLeo started all 12 game she played in and delivered the game-winning goal in the Jaspers' thrilling double-overtime triumph over Niagara, after finding the back of the net in a hard-fought draw with Binghamton.
Harwood started all 10 games she played in and was a vital member of defense that yielded just 16 goals.
