Lawrenceville, NJ - Manhattan dropped a 1-0 decision to Rider in MAAC action at Ben Cohen Field.

Kourtney Cunningham scored what would be the lone goal in the 40th minute as the Broncs improved to 7-4-2 and 3-2-1 in the MAAC while the Jaspers fall to 3-6-2 and 2-3-1 in the league.

Junior Camryn Nici (Seaford, NY / St. Anthony's) turned in another stellar performance in goal, making five saves in a losing effort.

Unfortunately, her counterpart Carmen Carbonell made six saves in registering a clean sheet.

In the second half, Manhattan had a pair of golden opportunities but could not net the equalizer. In the 56th minute, sophomore Tia Painilainen (Espoo, Finland / Arizona) fired a shot on net before senior Nicole Copping (Blue Point, NY / Bayport-Blue Point) had her shot blocked.

The Jaspers would have two more corner kicks the rest of the way, but were unable to record a shot.

NOTES
* Rider posted advantages in shots (20-8), shots on goal (8-5) and corner kicks (9-4).

* Manhattan recorded its 10th different starting line-up of the season.

* The all-time series is now tied up at 9-9-6, including 4-4-2 in Lawrenceville.

* Copping, Painilainen and senior Victoria Reis (Rockville Centre, NY / South Side) are the lone three Jaspers to start all 11 matches.

* Eight of Manhattan's 11 games have been decided by one goal or less, including five of its six MAAC matches.
