Riverdale, NY – Junior Amani Tatum (Cambria Heights, NY / James Madison) of the women's basketball team and freshman men's basketball player Aaron Walker Jr. (Brooklyn, NY / Cardozo) have been selected as the ATAX Manhattan College Student-Athletes of the Week. They were chosen based on their performances from December 12-December 17.
Tatum had 13 points, all in the second half, to lead the Jaspers against Fordham in the annual “Battle of the Bronx.” She was 5-for-7 from the floor while also adding four assists and two steals.
Walker Jr. notched his sixth double-digit scoring performance of the year at No. 23 Florida State with 14 points to go along with four assists, three rebounds and two steals. The rookie guard also was 4-of-10 from the floor and 5-of-8 from the line.
