NASSAU, Bahamas - The Manhattan College men's basketball team completed its foreign tour, which included three games in three days, with a 103-70 triumph over the New Providence All-Stars on Sunday evening at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium.
Following an 87-82 setback against the Commonwealth Bank Giants on Saturday, the Jaspers led from start to finish against New Providence. Shane Richards shot well from three-point range, while Rhamel Brown provided outstanding interior defense with six blocked shots. Adam Lacey also played well in the low post, giving Manhattan superb energy and hustle.
The Jaspers will return to the United States later this week and will begin the 2013-14 season on the road at La Salle on Saturday, November 9, 2013.
