RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Manhattan head men's basketball coach Barry Rohrssen and the Jaspers newest recruit Kevin Laue join CBS Sports reporter Lesley Visser Friday morning as guests on her morning radio show, which airs live on WFTL 640AM Sports in South Florida. Rohrssen will talk with Visser at 8 A.M.ET, and Laue will chat with her at 9:30 A.M. ET about his decision to play basketball in Riverdale next season.
Laue, a 6'11” one handed center from California, comes to Manhattan from Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia where he averaged 10 points and five rebounds as a postgraduate. Due to a complication at birth, Laue's left arm stops one inch above his elbow. He is believed to be the first student-athlete with a disability of this nature to receive a Division I basketball scholarship.
Visser, a legendary sports reporter, has covered nearly every sporting event and interviewed the biggest names in sports over her 30+ year career. She is currently a staple of CBS's NFL and College Basketball coverage. Visser hosts her Sports Radio Talk Show on WFTL 640AM every Friday morning.
