Frank Crowley '34 (Men's Track & Field/Cross Country)
Manhattan's first Olympian and NCAA champion. Won NCAA two-mile championship in 1934. Competed for the United States in the 1932 Olympics.

Francis "Doc" Sweeney 1916 (Athletic Department)
Jasper team physician from 1926-1966 when he suffered a heart attack in the locker room following a basketball game. Also the physician for the New York Football Giants.

Pete Waters, Coach (Men's Track & Field/Cross Country)
Molded the first great Manhattan track teams. Coached from 1926-43, capturing 11 Metropolitan, three Mid-Atlantic and three IC4A Championships.
