RIVERDALE, NY – Nominations are now being accepted for the Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame. Submissions are due on May 12, with the selection meeting taking place on May 31. The Class of 2017 will be formally inducted at a dinner and mass on Saturday, Nov. 11.
Student-athletes must be at least 10 years past their graduation, so 2007 graduates are eligible for the first time this year. Former coaches must be retired, and there is no restriction on other staff members or supporters.
Anyone can make a nomination. However, the nominator must attend the selection meeting (or appoint someone to speak on their behalf) on May 31 to present their candidate.
The nomination packet is available online, and nominations can either be submitted online or by mail. All research must be conducted by the nominator, with Manhattan College Archivist Amy Surak available to assist. Please call (718) 862-7139 or email amy.surak@manhattan.edu to set up an appointment.
