JACQUETTE NAMED TO COSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT I SECOND TEAM

Riverdale, NY (May 27, 2004)-Nora Jacquette (Ambler, PA/Mt. St. Joseph), a senior midfielder on the women's lacrosse team, was named to the Academic All-American All-District I Second Team announced today by CoSIDA. Student-Athletes are chosen for their continued excellence both on and off the field.

A communications major, Jacquette started in 18 of the 19 games played. She totaled 20 goals and six assists for 26 points this season. She helped her team win the 2004 MAAC Championships and earn a chance to play in the NCAA play-in-game. Jacquette was named to the MAAC All-Tournament team for her efforts during the tournament. She is currently ranked fifth on Manhattan's Women's Lacrosse All-Time Point Leaders list with 107 points, fourth in goals with 77 and fifth in assists with 30. Jacquette was also named to the MAAC All-Academic team.
