Katie Watt enters her first season at Manhattan University for the 2026 campaign.
Prior to her time with the Jaspers, she spent two years at the St. Joseph School in Seattle, Washington. There, she worked her way up to the title of Assistant Athletic Director and Intramurals Program Manager for the last year. Her duties included managing scheduling and event execution at two facilities serving up to 300 or more weekly participants.
While at St. Joseph, she also took on a head coaching gig at the Seattle Preparatory School, leading the freshman girls basketball team this past season.
Prior to coaching, Watt was a student-athlete for the women's soccer program at Western Washington University. While playing five seasons for the Vikings, she earned two GNAC (Great Northwest Athletic Conference) All-Conference selections, as well as four selections to the conference's All-Academic Team. During the 2022 season, she helped cap off a 19-2-4 season by winning the NCAA Division II National Championship over West Chester by a final score of 2-1.
By the time she walked away from the pitch, she found herself in the program's top five all-time in both minutes and games played. Furthermore, she is the only player in program history to start in two national championship games (2019, 2022).
Watt graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies with a minor in Communication Studies in December 2023.
