Kat Torode

Kat Torode is in her third year as the Senior Student-Athlete Academic Advisor at Manhattan College.

Torode spent the past four-plus years at Mercy College, serving as an admissions recruiter and a PACT counselor, which consisted of academic advising and career & internship exploration, while helping mentor student leadership and personal development.

She spent three years working for the Western Carolina University Athletic Department, first serving as the academic coordinator, before being promoted to director of academic support, where she coordinated and implemented the Academic Enhancement program. Additionally, she monitored NCAA eligibility for over 400-plus student-athletes, assisted with orientations, campus visits and supervised student staff training.

Torode got her start in college athletics as a NCAA eligibility & student-athlete success assistant at Ohio University, where she spent the 2011-12 school year.

A  member of the women's soccer team at York College, she graduated in 2010 with a degree in sports management, with a concentration in athletic administration.

Torode also owns a Masters in Organizational Leadership and an MBA.
