Robert Neuendorf comes to Riverdale after eight years coaching at the high school level. From 2004-12 he was an assistant coach at Tappan Zee High School in Blauvelt, N.Y.

During that time he helped lead the squad to back-to-back Sectional championships in both 2010 and 2011, as well as consecutive New York State title runs in 2011 and 2012. In his eight seasons, Tappan Zee produced five All-American swimmers and five New York State Champions, including the state's most valuable swimmer.

Neuendorf has also been a coach with the New York Sharks Aquatics club since its inception in 2004, helping the squad to multiple US Swimming top ten rankings and a national champion swimmer.

An accomplished athlete himself, Neuendorf swam for the University of Maryland and was a former All-Atlantic Coast Conference performer. He graduated in 1984 with a degree in Accounting and pursued a career with KPMG Peat Marwick and as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He has been inducted into both the Rockland County, N.Y. and Tappan Zee HIgh School Sports Hall of Fames.
