Manhattan College graduate Patrick Waldron joined John Olenowski's staff as an assistant coach for the 2011-12 campaign. Prior to joining the coaching staff, Waldron was the Jaspers' head student manager for three seasons (2008-09 to 2010-11).
Waldron serves as the Jaspers' travel coordinator while also coordinating film exchange, game scheduling, alumni relations, team rebounding, offensive specialties and summer camps/clinics, and assisting in recruiting. As team manager, his duties included organization of equipment for practices and games, as well as assisting at practices. He was also responsible for videotaping all games and maintaining in-game offensive specialty statistics.
A 2011 Manhattan graduate with a degree in physical education, Waldron served as an instructor at the Dutchmen Basketball Camp in Orangeburg, N.Y., from 2006-10. He coordinated the warm-up activities for the entire camp, as well as running specialized skill stations for campers ages 6-14. In addition, Waldron worked with Old School Performance Training, aiding in the individual instruction of elementary and high school basketball players.
He played two years of varsity basketball at Tappan Zee High School, winning the Dutchman Basketball Award in 2006 and 2007.
