Joe Cirrincione is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Lady Jaspers and works primarily with the team’s pitching staff.  Prior to his arrival in Riverdale, Cirrincione served as an assistant coach at Fordham (2000-01) and Iona (2001-06).

Cirrincione has been teaching the game of fast pitch softball for the past 15 years and has a vast knowledge of all aspects of the game.  He is one of the lead instructors at the University of Tennessee Softball Camps and has also worked side-by-side with Team USA players at the USA Softball Elite Hitting Camps.

In 2004, he coached against the Greek Olympic softball team during its U.S. tour prior to the Games in Athens.  In fact, Cirrincione's pitching knowledge came from working with L.B. Bailey, the 2004 Greek Olympic team’s pitching coach.

Cirrincione is a life-long resident of Tuckahoe, N.Y., and lives there with his wife, Edith, and daughter, Jennifer.
