Gavin brings more than 20 years of experience both as amateur and a professional to Manhattan. An accomplished player, he was a club professional at Nassau Country Club, Huntington Country Club and Crab Meadow Golf Course from 1995-2005. During that time he excelled as an instructor and competed professionally in the Metropolitan PGA section. Gavin is currently the Director of Marketing & Account Management at the Professional Evaluation Group in Hicksville, N.Y.

“I’m excited about this opportunity,” Gavin said. “I think with my background as a Division I collegiate golfer, student athlete and golf professional, I have the experience and tools to help the players develop and grow the program.”

A four-year letterwinner at St. John’s, he earned team MVP honors in 1991. Gavin served as team captain during his senior season. He graduated from St. John’s in 1994 with a degree in finance.
