Steve Alexander

Steve Alexander joined the Manhattan track & field/cross country staff as an assistant coach for the 2012-13 season.  He works runners from the sprints to the distance events, while also coordinating officials and results reporting for all meets hosted by Manhattan.

In addition, Alexander worked with Guyana's Winston George during his preparations for the 2013 World Championships in Moscow, Russia.

A 2004 graduate of Bucknell University, Alexander was a four-year member of the indoor and outdoor track & field teams, where he specialized in the middle-distance races.  Prior to coming to Manhattan, he spent several years working for a business consulting firm based in Washington, D.C.

Alexander attended high school in Skaneateles, N.Y., where he was an all-state member of the track & field and cross country teams. 

He resides in New York with his wife, Marissa.
