Brooks joined the Manhattan staff in May 2023 as part of the first staff for John Gallagher at Manhattan College.
Brooks spent three seasons on staff under Gallagher at Hartford, 2019-2022. During his time with the Hawks, Brooks touched many parts of the program, from breaking down videos of recruits, developing scouting reports, player development, and serving as an academic and stretch and conditioning liaison. Brooks helped the Hawks earn the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2021.
Before Hartford, Brooks was an assistant coach for two seasons at IMG Academy in Florida, where he was the head varsity national assistant coach for two years from 2017-19. He helped lead the program to its first-ever No. 1 national ranking and "Geico High School Nationals" championship in 2018-19. He also had a stint at St. John's College High School in Washington, D.C.
Brooks earned his bachelor's degree in economics from James Madison in 2011.
