RIVERDALE, N.Y. ?  Manhattan College placed four student-athletes on the 2008 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Tennis All-Academic Teams announced today at the conference championships in Flushing, N.Y. On the men’s side, Jeff Conklin (So.-Education-Pine Bush, N.Y.) and Filip Szymik (Sr.-Business-Stalowa, Portland) were honored, while Casey Conklin (Jr.-Pre-Physical Therapy-Mountainville, N.Y.) and Lindsey Keeler (Jr.-Marketing/Management-Mesa, Ariz.) were selected to the women’s team.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution, be a significant starter or reserve and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
