RIVERDALE, NY—Manhattan Director of Cross Country and Track and Field
Kerri Inman released her program's 2024-25 meet schedule this afternoon.
"We are really excited to begin our indoor campaign and showcase the hard work the athletes have put in over the past few months", says Inman. "Our schedule gives us a good mix of opportunities to hone our tactics and performances to ultimately be ready for MAACs."
This year's slate includes 12 tri-state area regular-season meets. The campaign begins north at the home of the United States Military Academy at Army West Point in the Crowell Open on Saturday, December 7. The teams will also meet in the Youree Spence Garcia Invite on Staten Island on the same day.
Following winter break, the Jaspers are back in action in West Point, NY, at the West Point Invite on Saturday, January 11. Six days later, they return closer to home to take part in the Ramapo Invitational inside The Armory in New York City on Friday, January 17.
One week later, Manhattan takes part in the Dr. Sander Scorcher, hosted by Columbia University. This two-day event begins on Friday, January 24, and concludes on Saturday, January 25, inside The Armory.
Manhattan concludes January in the Metropolitan Championship on Friday, January 31, inside the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.
The following week, the Jaspers are back in action inside The Armory as they gear up for the Millrose Games in another two-day event beginning on Thursday, February 6, and concluding on Saturday, February 8.
Manhattan then embarks on a northbound journey to New Haven, CT, to participate in the Giegengack Invitational, hosted by Yale University on Saturday, February 15.
In a two-day conference championship, The Armory will once again host the Manhattan Jaspers and the rest of the MAAC in the 2025 MAAC Championships beginning on Saturday, February 22, and concluding on Sunday, February 23.
The Jaspers host its annual Draddy Meet on Friday, February 28, inside Draddy Gymnasium.
If any athletes qualify, the Indoor NCAA Championships will be held on March 14-15 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, VA.
Manhattan kicks off its outdoor season with a trip to the Sunshine State to square off in the Hurricane Invite in a two-day event beginning on Friday, March 21, and concluding on Saturday, March 22.
"Our outdoor schedule has some exciting travel opportunities for our team to capitalize on good weather and good competition. I'm looking forward to a strong year for the Jaspers!" Exclaims Inman.
To conclude March, the Jaspers will be road-tripping along the Mid-Atlantic, with a trio of trips to NC State to race in the Raleigh Relays and Monmouth University to race at the Monmouth Invite.
One week later, Manhattan hits the road to participate in William and Mary's Colonial Relays, which opens the month of April for the Jaspers.
Manhattan splits between the Outdoor Metropolitan Championships at Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island and Princeton's Sam Howell Invitational in New Jersey the following week. Both meetings will be held on April 5.
The Jaspers will close out the month of April in Philadelphia at the Penn Relays, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania on April 24-26.
Should any athletes qualify, the regional round of the NCAA Outdoor Championships will be held from May 28 to 31 in Jacksonville, FL. The NCAA Finals will be held in Eugene, OR, on June 11-14.
