RIVERDALE, N.Y. - It's time for Manhattan College to return to action. This week the green and white host the Jasper Fall XC Invite at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, N.Y.
Saturday's meet will be the third of the season for the Jaspers and the first one they've hosted in 2023. The women's 6k race is scheduled for a start time of 10:30 a.m., followed by the men's 8k race at 11:30 a.m.
Women's Leaders
Andria Scaglione has a pair of individual crowns under her belt as she holds the best time in the 5k this season for the Jaspers at 18:39.2.
Kylie Conroy (19:03.0) and
Nicola Scaglione (19:51.3) also hold sub-19 times.
Men's Leaders
Jared Lautenslager holds the top 8k time for the Jasper men with 27:47.60. His time propelled him to a first-place finish at the Fordham Fiasco last weekend.
Jaxon Newton's time of 29:56.00 is the second-fastest 8k time this season.
Last Time Out
Last weekend, the Manhattan women won the Fordham Fiasco and the men placed second at the meet.
MAAC Championships
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) selected Manhattan College as the host institution for the 2023 MAAC Men's & Women's Cross Country Championships. Manhattan will host the championships at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, New York on Saturday, October 28, 2023. The 2023 championships will be the first time the races will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in the 43-year history of the MAAC.
