PRINCETON, N.J. --
Kristin Stickdorn etched herself a spot in the Manhattan women's track and field record book, breaking the school record in the hammer throw with a top mark of 59.09m at day one of the Larry Ellis Invite.
Stickdorn's historic performance toppled a record which previously belonged to Lydia Wehrli, who in 2015 finished with a mark of 58.50m.
Mary Gill also competed in the event, finishing with a top mark of 56.67.
In the same event, on the men's side
RJ Decker finished in second with a top mark of 61.91m.
