EDISON, N.J. – The MAAC released the 2023 Rowing Preseason Poll on Wednesday morning, and Manhattan was picked to finish ninth by the league's head coaches.
Jacksonville was picked to repeat as MAAC Champions and collected nine of a possible 11 first-place votes. Marist, picked second, collected the two remaining first-place votes. Fairfield completed the top three.
Stetson, Sacred Heart, Drake, Canisius, and Roberts Morris occupied spots four through eight in the poll. Behind Manhattan were Iona and LIU.
The Jaspers open their spring schedule on Mar. 25 against Iona, Skidmore, and Stockton at Overpeck Park in New Jersey.
The 2023 MAAC Women's Rowing Championship will take place at Fish Creek in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., for the first time on May 12, 2023. Institutions will compete for the conference's automatic qualifier for the 2023 NCAA Division I Rowing Championship.
