Men's Indoor Track and Field Kicks off This Week

NEW YORK, NY – The Jasper's first meet of the indoor track & field season will be at the Army Crowell Open this Saturday at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, NY.

The Staff 
Kerri Inman will once again be at the helm of the staff and will be joined by assistant coaches Patrick McGrath, Kathryn Schumann, Ena Leufroy, Margaret Hayden, and John Lovett.
 
The Field
The men's squad has a highly talented roster filled with newcomers and veterans for the 2023-24 season. Senior RJ Decker returns after earning a gold medal in the weight throw at the Indoor MAAC Championships. He placed second in the weight throw at the Crowell Open last season.
 
Newcomer Ivan Lytovchenko placed second in the high jump at the Indoor Metropolitan Championships last year to earn MAAC Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Meet honors.
 
The Season Preview
Men's track & field was picked to finish fourth in the MAAC Indoor Polls, released by the conference office on Thursday.
