RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Manhattan cross country teams are set for their second meet of the year as they race in the Siena Invite this weekend.
This serves as the first time either team has run in this event, which will see the runners take on the course at The Crossings of Colonie.
Both teams opened their seasons last at the Marist Opener. On the men's side, the team came in fourth place. On the individual level,
Michael Hennelly started the 2022 season strong with a top-10 placement with a time of 19:34.3. Others made their debut in the Green and White including
Dean Mayo,
Walter Brady,
Jaxon Newton and
Keith Connelly.
As for the women, they also raced at the Marist Opener. Senior
Andria Scaglione shined for Director of Cross Country
Kerri Gallagher, posting a time of 19:42.8 on the Vassar Farm course.
Rory Graham posted a time of 20:28.6.
