RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Manhattan student-athletes continued to shine in the classroom during the 2021 fall semester.
Two hundred twenty-eight student-athletes maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2. The student-athletes were honored with a breakfast last week on Walsh Plaza.
Additionally, 24 student-athletes finished the fall semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA, and eight have maintained a cumulative 4.0 GPA. The eight are
Matt Padre (baseball),
Connor Hapward,
James McCoy, and
Brendan O'Sullivan (men's lacrosse),
Liam Moore (men's soccer, and
Kaitlyn Holly and
Jessie Rising (softball).
Men's lacrosse had the most student-athletes with at least a 3.2 with 26. Men's cross country and track and field plus women's soccer had 25 apiece.
Amongst the men's programs, the cross country team posted the highest GPA at 3.325. The women's lacrosse team posted a team GPA of 3.525 to lead all women's teams.
