RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Manhattan men's cross country team will return to the Crossings at Colonie for the 2022 MAAC Cross Country Championship on Saturday.
Saturday will be the second time the Jaspers will run this course this season, with the Jaspers taking on the course in their second meet of the year at the Siena Invite on Sept. 10.
"The MAAC Championship is the pinnacle of our season, and both the men's and women's teams have been focusing on their effort, attitude, and intention throughout this season," said Director of Cross Country
Kerri Gallagher. "I am excited for them to go out and make the most of this experience."
At the Siena Invite,
Michael Hennelly paced the Jaspers with a 39th-place finish in a time of 26:17.0.
Last year's MAAC Championship was held in Orlando, Fla., at ESPN World Wide of Sports, where the team finished in fifth.
Manhattan will look to topple Iona for the MAAC Championship, who have won an impressive 31 straight conference championships.
