STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Manhattan women's track and field team returned to the Ocean Breeze Complex for the NYC Gotham Cup on Friday.
The Jaspers picked up three wins from two student-athletes and recorded four other top 10 finishes.
Alexandra Preckajlo won the shot put and the weight throw. The Ocean, N.J. native hit ECAC marks in both disciplines with a 14.58m mark in the shot put and am 18.23m effort in the weight throw.
Andria Scaglione crossed the line first in the 5000m in 17:41.47. The junior repeated as champion in the distance and picked up her fourth career indoor win.
Lilly Brown finished third in the pole vault after clearing 3.35m.
Nina Bjockman finished third in the weight throw (15.63m) and fourth in the shot put (12.49m) for Manhattan.
Alexandra Caraher made it three Jaspers in the top 10 of the weight throw with her ninth place finish.
The Jaspers return to the track on Feb. 3 at Ocean Breeze for the Metropolitan Championships.
