RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Manhattan athletic department wants to wish everyone a happy Martin Luther King Day. Manhattan men's and women's basketball teams return to MAAC contests this week. While the men's and women's track & field teams begin the winter season this Monday.
The men's basketball team returns to action after beating Canisius in MAAC play on Sunday, 80-75. During the matchup, senior forward Jose Perez (Bronx, NY) scored a season-high 33 points and added three rebounds.
The women's basketball team returns to play following a road loss to Siena. Sophomore forward
Jade Blagrove (Barendrecht, Netherlands) scored a career-high fourteen points and added seven rebounds.
