Indianapolis, IN - Manhattan's Director of Cross Country, Track and Field
Kerri Gallagher has been appointed to the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee, effective September 1, 2021.
"The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee serves an important role in our sport," said Gallagher. "I am grateful for the opportunity and really looking forward to serving on this committee alongside very accomplished and dedicated coaches and administrators."
Gallagher, who is set to begin her sixth year in Riverdale, was recently promoted to director in May 2021, was named head coach of Manhattan's men's & women's cross country, mid-distance and distance programs in July of 2016.
An elite-level professional runner, Gallagher also represented the United States in the 1500 meters at the 2015 IAAF World Championships.
Gallagher's committee appointment will run through August 31, 2022.
