Leonia, NJ – Manhattan concluded its regular season with a tri-meet against Fairfield and Lehigh at Overpeck County Park this past Saturday on Senior Day.
* Following the match, the Jaspers recognized their six seniors:
Maria Blas-Perez (Woodstock, NY / John A. Coleman Catholic),
Kerry Brosnan (Mahopac, NY / Kennedy Catholic),
Rachel Foertch (Syracuse, NY / C.W. Baker),
Shannon Gleba (Midland Park, NJ / Immaculate Heart),
Ella O'Brien (Hadley, MA / Hopkins Academy) and
Alexa Schmidt (Emerson, NJ / Emerson).
* Manhattan won the second Varsity 4+ in a time of 8:15.00, defeating two boats from Fairfield, one from Loyola and another entrant from Manhattan.
* The Jaspers placed second in the First Varsity 8+ (7:15.60), Second Varsity 8+ (7:18.80) and the Varsity 4+ (8:50.68).
* Manhattan will next compete at the 2021 MAAC Women's Rowing Championship on Sunday, May 16.
