Manhattan Announces Series Of ESPN Streaming Broadcasts

Riverdale, NY - The Manhattan College Athletics Department will stream upcoming games at Gaelic Park on ESPN's digital streaming networks.

Scheduled to start broadcasting on Friday, March 26, all contests taking place in Gaelic Park will air on ESPN3 or ESPN+ through Wednesday, March 31. These will be the first-ever Gaelic Park games to air on the ESPN family of networks.

The webcasts will be an extension of the basketball broadcast crew, and run through the Manhattan College Sports Media department. The broadcasts will provide Manhattan College's students with valuable hands-on experience behind the camera, in the production truck and on-site running the productions.

"The Manhattan College Communications Department and its students are ecstatic to be able to expand our coverage and cover spring sports," states Joe Ruggiero, Producer/Director in the Sports Media Department. "Students will gain a new perspective of producing games in a new environment and at a new facility. I look forward to being able to teach my students different broadcasting elements along the way."

The slate of games set to air are as follows:
Friday, March 26 - Men's Lacrosse vs. Monmouth - 6:00 pm
Sunday, March 28 - Men's Soccer vs. Rider - 2:00 pm
Tuesday, March 30 - Women's Soccer vs. Marist - 3:00 pm
Wednesday, March 31 - Softball Doubleheader vs. Quinnipiac - 12:00 pm

The games will either air on on ESPN3 or on ESPN+ and will be designated on the schedules when determined.

A cable subscription provides you a pass to ESPN3 broadcasts, while there is a monthly fee to watch games on ESPN+.
