Quemarii Williams (Danville, IL / Danville) have been voted ATAX Student-Athletes of the Week for Monday, January 6 through Sunday, January 12.
Padedze captured two individual wins this past weekend, including first place in the women's shot put at the Robert Elkin Invitational with a distance of 13.58 meters. She then bested that performance at the TCNJ Invitational, hitting 13.67 meters, topping the MAAC's best shot put performances of the season.
Williams, who was named the MAAC Male Track Performer of the Week, holds the league's best performances in the men's 400- and 800-meter races. At the Robert Elkin Invitational, he finished second in the 400 meters (49.84), before placing second in the 800 meters (1:54.48) at the TCNJ Invite.
