Elyse Holmes, the Manhattan Women's Rowing Team turned in another impressive performance at the 2019 Dad Veil Regatta.
"It was a hard-fought two days of racing by all the crews," said Head Coach
Alex Canale. "I am especially proud of the rowers that stepped up to fill foreign positions. Leah (McGovern) moved to the starboard for the weekend in the 2V, Carra (Toner) competed in the double scull, Shannon (Colford) returned to the line-up in the double skull and of course Elyse (Holmes), who coxed the Varsity 8, before posting a fourth-place finish in the varsity single."
Holmes notched a mark of 8:42 in taking fourth in the Women's Single.
In the varsity 8+, the Jaspers raced to a 19th-place finish (7:04.06) on Friday, before taking second in their next heat with a mark of 6:51.94. Comprising the squad was
