Riverdale, NY - Manhattan Athletics welcomed donors, alumni, administrators, student-athletes and friends to the Gaelic Park Athletic Center Saturday, October 5 for the official opening reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new facility.

Flanked by so many who made the GPAC vision a reality, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics
Marianne Reilly thanked all those who donated time, money and resources to the project, and who helped create locker rooms, office space and a training room for five Manhattan teams who previously went without.

Drew Kelleher, benefactor Tim Doran and women's lacrosse player Emily Sandford. Rev. Thomas Franks, athletic department chaplain, also blessed the building prior to the ribbon-cutting.
Post-ceremony, guests gathered inside the facility for a champagne toast, tours of the locker rooms, and a first look at the new donor wall that honors all who contributed to the project.
