Rowing Competes At Spring Metropolitan Championships

New Rochelle, NY - The Manhattan College women's rowing team competed in the 2018 Spring Metropolitan Championships Saturday at Orchard Beach Lagoon on April 28 and at the Sacred Heart Invitational on April 21.
 
In the women's varsity 4 this past weekend, Manhattan won the second heat in a time of 8:02.42 before placing fourth in the finals.

The Jaspers' two entries in the women's varsity 8 each placed second in their respective heats before the "A" squad took fourth in the finals with a mark of 8:02.13 and the "B" team fifth in 8:18.51.

Manhattan returns to action at the Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia on Friday, May 11.
