The 40th annual Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 10. Seven individuals and one team will be honored. Leading up to the induction, all members of the Class of 2018 will be profiled on GoJaspers.com

One of the top quarterbacks from the club football era, Robert Annunziata joins the Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame.

Annunziata was a four-year starter on the gridiron and later coached the club football, softball and wrestling teams at Manhattan.

In his stellar career, Annunziata passed for over 4,000 yards with 30 touchdowns through the air and six on the ground while garnering Club Football All-American honors two times.

Extremely well-respected by his peers, he was voted team captain in each of his final three years and posted his best individual performance against Georgetown with 323 passing yards and two touchdowns.

Following a MVP senior season at Manhattan, Annunziata earned tryouts with the New York Giants and the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.

Annunziata also was a member of the Jaspers' varsity wrestling team for two years, registering nine pins.

Annunziata graduated from Manhattan with a degree in physical education before working as the recreation manager for the college.

The current Director of Athletics at the Horace Mann School, he and his wife Maureen '83 are the proud parents of Marisa and Cara.
