Riverdale, NY - Junior Lisa Fajardo (Brooklyn, NY / Bishop Kearny) and senior John Dove (Monroe, NY / Monroe-Woodbury) are the ATAX Manhattan College Student-Athletes of the Week for the period of September 4 to September 10.
Fajardo claimed the women's individual title at the 37th annual Fordham Fiasco by over 17 seconds, clocking a time of 18:24.09. Fajardo, who earned All-MAAC honors a year ago, led an effort that saw three Jaspers finish among the top-six as Manhattan won the team title.
Dove won the Fordham Fiasco Individual championship on the men's side after recording a 26:16.15 this past Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park. Dove, also an All-MAAC selection in 2016, was the first of four Jaspers to finish in the top-five as Manhattan rolled to a team title.
Manhattan cross country seeks to build upon their win at the Monmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 16.
