Annual St. Baldrick's Fundraiser Nets Over $5,000

Riverdale, NY - The Manhattan Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) raised over $5,000 at its third annual Brave A Shave For Kids With Cancer event.

Coaches & staff members raised money by either having a pie thrown in his/her face or shaving his/her head. 

All proceeds will be donated to the St. Baldrick's Foundation to help fund research in the battle against pediatric cancer. 

The St. Baldrick's Foundation was founded in 1999 and has raised more than 200 million dollars in research grant funding since 2005.
