Riverdale, NY - Nominations for the Manhattan College Athletic Hall Of Fame Class of 2016 are now being accepted until Monday, May 23.

Anyone may nominate an individual for the Athletic Hall of Fame as the objective is to have a broad representation of qualified candidates. We recommend detailed attention when collecting and presenting biographical information to achieve the desired results in this competitive process.

Please provide at least two legible copies of your nomination packet or submit it electronically to alumni@manhattan.edu. For more information about nominating a candidate, visit the nominations page. 

Membership in the Athletic Hall of Fame is gained through election by the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee and is open to individuals who fall under one or more of the following non-exclusive categories:
  • An alumnus or alumna (hereinafter “alumnus”) who, as an academically qualified student, participated in the College's athletic program and whose class received a degree at least ten (10) or more years prior to his or her candidacy.
  • Athletic directors, coaches and athletic staff preferably those with at least five (5) and ideally ten (10) years of service to the College.
  • Friends and alumni of the College who have regularly enhanced interest in, and the success of, Manhattan College athletics as reflected by their career body of work.
Established in 1979 as a means of honoring the greatest athletic Jaspers of all time, there are currently over 200 proud members of the Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame.
